The brewing process
Since its foundation in 1901, the Salzburg wheat beer brewery has not changed the principle of its traditional production. "DIE WEISSE" is produced according to the original recipe of founder Adelbert Behr with a craft tradition that is tried and true.
Natural raw materials and a carefully monitored production process are what guarantee a superior quality and an incomparable drinking experience. When purchasing raw materials, the quality standards are consistently observed. Wheat and barley malt are sourced from an Upper Austrian malt house.
"The successful brewing trade needs more than excellent hops, Austrian malt, and the best water. We brew beer with expertise, high-quality standards, and attention to detail. Our high standards are confirmed by our many awards and prizes," explains master brewer Felix Gmachl.
